Youth Flock

Our Purpose

To challenge and equip the Youth (7th-12th Grade students) for the development of godly character and biblical understanding, as they mature into adulthood. We provide a variety of opportunities for instruction, godly fellowship, and Christian service to seek to meet the need of every student – taking them from where they are and equipping them for a faithful response to Christ in all of life.

Our Commitments

We are committed to working with parents to provide a God-centered ministry to students in 7th - 12th grade that combines expository teaching of the Bible, practical Christian instruction in key areas facing teens, shepherding care, godly fellowship, compassionate outreach.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Colossians 1:28

As students enter into the adult world, our youth ministry is designed to meet the demands of Christ that they involve themselves in 4 primary areas:

  • Fellowship/Encouragement of one another
  • Instruction in Christian Truths
  • Service of Christ
  • Corporate Worship

Our Programs

Sunday Morning

The youth gather each Sunday morning for Flock at 9:00am for a time of fellowship, worship, and instruction in the Scriptures and how to apply those truths to their everyday life. Primarily, we teach through a book of the Bible during each semester of the school year. During worship service, the youth join the rest of the church for corporate worship, prayer, and receiving instruction through expository preaching of the Word.

Our Curriculum

Though we have students that span over six grade (7th-12th), we teach using a 4 year curriculum. This is purposeful, allowing students to get aquainted with books of the Bible and topics in the study in their early teenage years as they learn beside those that are older. Then in turn, they get the opportunity to think through those particular studies with a couple more years of growth at their disposal, as well as then leading the study with those that are younger.
